About The Position

Easy Mile Fitness is hiring a Regional Manager to oversee the operations of a market consisting of 5 to 6 Planet Fitness clubs. The role is responsible for delivering an exceptional Judgement Free member experience while ensuring the market is financially successful. The manager leads General Managers and their teams in a positive, motivating manner and supports ongoing employee training and development. The position builds and maintains Planet Fitness and Easy Mile Fitness values and culture across each club, ensures welcoming environments and excellent customer service, and facilitates timely resolution of customer complaints. It monitors operational KPIs, identifies opportunities for improvement, develops action plans, and escalates facility and maintenance issues as needed. The manager also oversees recruiting, hiring, training, and staff development across multiple club roles, and ensures company policies and procedures are followed. Hours are mostly Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a flexible schedule that may include night and weekend club visits. Travel, including overnight trips, is required. The position also provides backup management coverage when managers are away or unavailable.

Requirements

At least 1 year of managerial experience in a customer-facing retail environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel and handle overnight trips.
Comfort with a flexible schedule, including night and weekend club visits as needed.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to talk and hear, sit, stand, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
Ability to occasionally walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Build, manage, and uphold Planet Fitness and Easy Mile Fitness values and culture at each club.
Ensure each club provides a welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service for members, prospective members, and guests.
Monitor customer complaints and facilitate their timely resolution.
Ensure operational KPIs are met or exceeded.
Identify opportunities for improvement at each club and develop action plans.
Escalate facility and maintenance issues as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Manage staffing across club locations, including recruiting, hiring, and training General Managers, Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, and Trainers.
Oversee staff development, including leading and participating in General Manager and Assistant General Manager summits.
Ensure Planet Fitness and Easy Mile Fitness policies and procedures are upheld.
Provide backup management support when managers are on vacation or otherwise unavailable.
