About The Position
VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and cargo van owner-operators to transport company loads under a written independent contractor agreement. The company does not hire company drivers. Owner-operators can negotiate rates with dispatchers. Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a load.
Requirements
- Own a Sprinter or cargo van.
- Be a U.S. citizen, resident, green card holder, or holder of work authorization.
- You and your drivers must be at least 21 years old.
- You and your drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English; Russian speakers are also hired.
- Have at least 6 months of driving experience.
- Submit vehicle registration and insurance.
- Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
- Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
- Remove all decals from the vehicle.
- Sign a written independent contractor agreement as an owner-operator.
Responsibilities
- Provide and operate your own Sprinter or cargo van for company loads.
- Ensure all drivers are approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting loads.
- Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
- Inform the company before putting the vehicle on the road if changes are made to it.
- Meet vehicle equipment and decal requirements.
