About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators under a written independent contractor agreement. Owner-operators must provide their own vehicle and may negotiate rates with dispatchers. All drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with the company before accepting a load. The company does not hire company drivers. Applicants must provide vehicle registration and insurance. Sprinter vehicles must be no older than 2016. Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE, and all decals must be removed. Any changes to a vehicle must be reported to the company before it is put on the road. Applicants must have at least six months of driving experience.

Requirements

Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
Be a US citizen, resident, green card holder, or work authorization holder.
The owner-operator and drivers must be at least 21 years old.
The owner-operator and drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English; Russian speakers are also hired.
Have at least six months of driving experience.
Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE, with all decals removed.
Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
Execute a written independent contractor agreement as an owner-operator.

Responsibilities

Provide and operate an owner-owned Sprinter or Cargo Van for company loads.
Ensure drivers are approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a load.
Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
Ensure the vehicle meets the company’s stated requirements, including having at least four straps and PPE and having all decals removed.
Inform the company of vehicle changes before putting the vehicle on the road.
