About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is seeking Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators to work under a written independent contractor agreement. The company offers nationwide freight loads, competitive rates, and the opportunity to negotiate rates with dispatchers. Dispatchers have at least four years of experience and broker contacts. Loads are personalized based on the owner-operator’s preferences. Listed Sprinter rates are $0.85–$1.35 per mile for long miles in good areas and $0.85–$1.10 per mile for long miles in bad areas. Canada Sprinter rates are $1.25–$1.55 per mile. Payment is made within 3–5 business days; quick pay is available for a 3% fee. The listed operating days are Monday through Friday. The posting states a minimum average monthly salary of $8,000 or more, depending on the vehicle, willingness to work, payload, and Hazmat certificate or TSA/TWIC credentials. This is an owner-operator opportunity; the company does not hire company drivers. Applicants must have their own qualifying vehicle and be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting loads.

Requirements

Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
Be a U.S. citizen, resident, green card holder, or holder of work authorization.
The owner-operator and drivers must be at least 21 years old.
The owner-operator and drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
Have at least 6 months of driving experience.
Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
Remove all decals from the vehicle.
Submit vehicle registration and insurance.
Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting company loads.

Nice To Haves

Russian language ability; Russian speakers are also hired.
Hazmat certificate or TSA/TWIC credentials may affect earning potential.

Responsibilities

Operate as an owner-operator under a written independent contractor agreement.
