About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators under a written independent contractor agreement. Owner-operators use their own vehicles and may negotiate rates with dispatchers. The company does not hire company drivers. Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a company load.

Requirements

• Must own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, resident, green card holder, or work authorization holder.
• The owner-operator and their drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• The owner-operator and their drivers must speak, understand, and read basic English.
• Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER to accept a company load.
• Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
• Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
• All decals must be removed.
• Must provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• At least six months of driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• Russian language ability is accepted; Russian speakers are also hired.

Responsibilities

• Provide and operate an owner-owned Sprinter or Cargo Van for company loads.
• Ensure all drivers are approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting loads.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• Inform the company before putting the vehicle on the road if changes are made to it.
