Sprinter/Cargo Van Owner Operator
About The Position
VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators under a written independent contractor agreement. The company offers competitive rates, which owner-operators may negotiate with dispatchers. The company does not hire company drivers. Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a company load. Owner-operators must provide their own vehicle and submit its registration and insurance. Sprinter vans must be no older than 2016. Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE, and all decals must be removed. Any vehicle changes must be reported before the vehicle is put on the road.
Requirements
- Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
- Be a US citizen, resident, green card holder, or holder of work authorization.
- Owner-operators and their drivers must be at least 21 years old.
- Owner-operators and their drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English; Russian speakers are also hired.
- Have at least 6 months of driving experience.
- Sprinter vans must be no older than 2016.
- Vehicles must have a minimum of four straps and PPE, and all decals must be removed.
- Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
- Execute a written independent contractor agreement as an owner-operator.
Responsibilities
- Provide and operate an eligible Sprinter or Cargo Van as an owner-operator.
- Submit vehicle registration and insurance.
- Notify the company of vehicle changes before putting the vehicle on the road.
- Ensure all drivers are approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting loads.
