About The Position

As a Security Guard in the Retail Sportsbook, you help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. You monitor activity, respond to incidents, and help daily floor operations run smoothly. Working with cross-functional teams, you help maintain compliance, protect assets, and support a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, navigate stairs frequently, and lift up to 35 lbs.
May be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Verify patron identification, monitor entry points, and operate metal detectors to support safety and age-verification protocols.
Maintain a visible security presence, observe activity, identify potential risks, and report violations, suspicious behavior, or illegal activity to management.
Respond to patron disputes, aggressive behavior, intoxication, medical situations, and other safety-related events; provide support and first aid when needed.
Document and report theft, property damage, injuries, and unusual occurrences, and assist with asset protection and secure transfers.
Provide directions and support to guests and vendors to help ensure an organized venue experience.
