About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to provide speech and language rehabilitation to patients. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and administering personalized treatment plans, adapting treatment when needed, and tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response. Requirements

• Current state license or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Current state license in Speech Therapy.
• CPR/BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment when necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Support patients through treatment and celebrate their progress.
