About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Therapy Manager to lead and support its therapy team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role combines leadership responsibilities with direct patient care, helping patients progress toward their rehabilitation goals through compassionate, personalized treatment. The Therapy Manager assists with daily therapy team operations and collaborates with therapy staff and hospital departments. The position offers access to current technology and a supportive, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• At least three years of experience in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or leadership, including at least two years of clinical experience.

• Active on the Therapy Clinical Ladder when eligible.
• Specialty professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with therapy staff and hospital departments.
• Provide direct care to patients, understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
