About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its inpatient rehabilitation environment. The nurse provides individualized, compassionate care to support patients’ recovery and rehabilitation goals, using specialized skills and available technology. The role includes overseeing care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, developing and tailoring care plans, addressing patient concerns, and providing direct patient care when needed. The nurse builds relationships with patients and families, coordinates care with other departments, and serves as a resource to fellow staff. The position is associated with a hiring event on Tuesday, November 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Cookeville, 1091 S Willow Ave., Cookeville, TN 38501. Qualified applicants may be scheduled for an interview during the event; walk-ins are welcome.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification is preferred.
• CRRN certification is preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments.
• Lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients and their families and understand their unique needs to facilitate recovery.
