About The Position
The Nurse Supervisor provides leadership and guidance to support patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys. The role helps ensure nursing procedures are implemented seamlessly and that patients receive compassionate, individualized care. The Nurse Supervisor collaborates with administration, nursing management, and staff, oversees nursing care during assigned shifts or on a specific unit, and supports staff performance and development. Patient care may also be provided as needed, with an emphasis on understanding patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs and supporting their recovery.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
- BLS certification; obtain ACLS certification within one year of starting the position.
- Obtain CRRN certification within one year of meeting eligibility requirements.
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting, within the last five years.
- Previous leadership experience, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, with responsibility for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
- Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
- Monitor and manage staff, including providing immediate feedback, conducting annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline.
- Assume patient care as needed and build relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
- Recognize and celebrate patient progress and recovery milestones.
