About The Position
Encompass Health is hiring Registered Nurses to provide individualized, compassionate care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Nurses support patients through recovery by using specialized skills and technology, helping them pursue rehabilitation goals, and contributing to meaningful outcomes for patients and their families. The role includes supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, tailoring care plans, addressing patient concerns, coordinating with other departments, and providing direct care when needed. Nurses also serve as a resource to colleagues and support patients and families throughout recovery. The posting invites candidates to attend a hiring event on Tuesday, November 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Cookeville, 1091 S Willow Ave., Cookeville, TN 38501. Requirements
- Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification preferred.
- CRRN certification preferred.
- One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise care and treatments.
- Lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families and understand their needs to facilitate recovery.
- Collaborate and communicate with various departments to coordinate care.
- Provide direct patient care when needed.
- Serve as a resource for fellow staff on complex patient needs and inquiries.
