About The Position

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a school-based Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to children. The role focuses on helping students succeed in school and beyond by delivering high-quality services based on their IEPs and 504 plans. The Speech Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and assessments, writes reports, and identifies students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills. PDS provides mentorship and support to therapists working with schools and clinics.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• ASHA certification.
• State Speech Language Pathology license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech-language services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments.
• Write reports.
• Determine students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
