About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy to children and support their success in school and beyond. The position provides services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans. The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and assessments and writes reports to identify students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills. PDS partners with public school districts, charter schools, and communities to provide pediatric therapists. The company offers therapist support and a tailored mentorship program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA certification.
- State Speech-Language Pathology license.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech-language services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Write reports identifying students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
