About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy to children in a school-based setting. The role focuses on helping students succeed in school and beyond by delivering high-quality services based on their IEPs and 504 plans. The Speech Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and assessments, writes reports, and identifies students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills. PDS provides therapist support through a tailored mentorship program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA certification.
- State Speech Language Pathology license. PDS’s licensing team can help candidates obtain a license for a specific state.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech-language services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Write reports.
- Determine students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
