Speech Language Pathologist-Neuro-PRN
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in Burbank, California, and surrounding areas. PRN positions are available, accepting patients for the duration of their stay. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Clinicians work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams that develop integrated treatment plans and use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. Patients may be served across the continuum from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
- State licensure.
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments across speech and language, executive functioning, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans practiced in patients’ homes and communities.
- Provide individualized, one-on-one rehabilitation to patients in their homes and communities.
