Speech Language Pathologist-Neuro-PRN
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in Clairemont, California, and surrounding areas. PRN positions are available, with clinicians able to accept patients for the duration of their stay. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Clinicians work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams that develop integrated treatment plans and practice them in functional home and community settings. Treatment is individualized and evidence-based, using varied activities to engage patients while addressing functional goals. Patients may be served across the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
- State licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments across speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans practiced in patients’ homes and communities.
- Provide individualized, one-on-one rehabilitation services to patients.
