About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for PRN positions in Mira Mesa, California, and surrounding areas. The organization provides neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Interdisciplinary teams develop integrated treatment plans, with therapists using creative activities to address functional goals through an evidence-based approach. Positions may accept patients for the duration of their stay.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
- State licensure.
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language, executive functioning, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs.
