Speech Language Pathologist-Neuro-PRN
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in Fullerton, California, and surrounding areas. PRN positions are available, with clinicians accepting patients for the duration of their stay. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in patients’ homes and communities. Speech Language Pathologists work as part of interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans and provide individualized, evidence-based care. Treatment is delivered one-on-one in functional home and community settings, using creative activities to engage patients while addressing their goals. Patients may be served across the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
- State licensure.
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments across speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to create and carry out integrated treatment plans in patients’ homes and communities.
- Provide individualized, patient-centered neurological rehabilitation.
