Speech Language Pathologist (Sign on Bonus) - Las Vegas, NV
About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is expanding in Las Vegas, NV, and surrounding areas, seeking licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide exceptional one-on-one care to older adults in their homes or within Senior Living Communities. Utilizing the Geriatric House Calls™ model, you will help patients enhance mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. This specific role is situated within one of our Senior Living Community partners, Avamere at Cheyenne. The position is ideal for SLPs who value autonomy, flexibility, and impactful patient outcomes, with the freedom to manage their own schedules and foster strong patient relationships. Clinicians may also integrate telehealth and virtual care for increased flexibility, improved care continuity, and broader patient support. This is a high-impact SLP role focused on positively influencing the lives of the communities served.
Requirements
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
- Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency
- Current CPR certification
- Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
- Performing CPR
- Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
- Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
- Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model
- Wearing PPE when required
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults wherever they call home (Private residences, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care)
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence
- Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place
- Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility
