Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatrics - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
NovaCare Kids is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The role evaluates and treats pediatric patients with conditions including developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing challenges, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, and phonological disorders. Feeding experience is preferred. The position offers mentorship and orientation in pediatric speech-language pathology, including feeding therapy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). New graduates seeking to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Compensation depends on experience. Incentives include up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus and/or $350 per month in uncapped student debt relief.
Requirements
- Meet ASHA minimum standards to initiate a Clinical Fellowship Year, including 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
- State Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and ASHA certification are required.
- Complete 300 hours of prescribed clinical practicum experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care and maintain positive interactions with centers and patients.
- Coordinate treatment programs with other clinical and therapeutic services.
- Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs to maximize outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate patients’ status and goals.
