About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in Temple, Texas, and surrounding areas. PRN positions are available, with clinicians accepting patients for the duration of their stay. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Interdisciplinary teams develop integrated treatment plans and use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. Care is individualized to each patient’s needs and may serve patients across the continuum, from severe brain injury to job readiness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
- State licensure.
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language, executive functioning, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized treatment in patients’ homes and communities.
