About The Position

Parallel is interviewing dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to join our mission of empowering students with learning differences. If you’re committed to providing exceptional care and equipping children with the tools they need for success, we want to join our Provider Network! This role involves supporting students remotely in Missouri for the 2026-2027 school year, offering a consistent 37.5 hour/week schedule during school hours (8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday). Parallel is the first tech-forward provider of care for learning and thinking differences across the United States, believing that learning differences are parallel ways of thinking that should be celebrated. Their mission is to provide students with the resources and encouragement to succeed in the classroom and beyond by helping them build confidence in their unique strengths and create strategies to work around their challenges. Parallel simplifies the process of getting support for learning differences by consolidating providers and resources on a single platform, connecting students with qualified professionals while significantly reducing waiting times, costs, and confusion.

Requirements

  • Missouri State license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State-specific experience with Missouri students, including expertise in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports
  • Familiarity with PowerSchool
  • Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct services & conduct SLP evaluations
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), focusing on specific SLP goals
  • Continuously monitor each child's progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Effectively communicate with parents, staff, and students regarding progress
  • Complete essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Meet with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs, adaptations, and interventions
  • Actively participate in team meetings and work collaboratively to ensure every student's success
