Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP/CCC-SLP) — Outpatient
About The Position
TheraDynamics is hiring an outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat clients with communication and swallowing disorders. The caseload includes adults and may include pediatric clients, with conditions such as post-stroke aphasia, voice disorders, cognitive-linguistic disorders, and swallowing disorders. Outpatient clinics offer equipment, time, and team support for clinicians to practice at the top of their scope. The role includes conducting standardized assessments, developing functional treatment goals, educating patients and families, and collaborating with referring physicians. Clinicians with modified barium swallow experience may have the opportunity to conduct instrumental swallowing assessments.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- CCC-SLP credential or status as a Clinical Fellowship candidate.
- Current or eligibility for a New York State SLP license.
- Interest in working with a diverse outpatient caseload.

- MBS or FEES experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat outpatient clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct standardized assessments.
- Develop functional treatment goals.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Collaborate with referring physicians.
- Conduct instrumental swallowing assessments when qualified and given the opportunity.
