About The Position

Relient Health is hiring licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists for full-time, in-person, direct-hire permanent placement opportunities in Virginia. Current openings include Ashland, Windsor, Woodstock, and other Virginia markets. Depending on location, roles may be based in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, pediatric settings, home health, or mixed-setting environments. Facility requirements vary: some require ASHA CCC certification, while others consider qualified Clinical Fellows. Clinical Fellow supervision availability depends on the facility.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology master's program.
Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility/pending licensure.
Ability to work full-time in one of the listed Virginia markets.
Authorized to work in the United States.
The role is exclusively for licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists; facility-specific requirements vary, with some requiring ASHA CCC and others accepting qualified Clinical Fellows.

Nice To Haves

Experience in SNF, ALF, retirement community, hospital-based rehabilitation, outpatient, pediatric, home health, or mixed-setting environments.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing treatment plans.
Provide skilled Speech-Language Pathology services in a rehabilitation setting.
Complete standardized assessments and documentation in electronic medical record systems.
Collaborate with SLPAs, rehabilitation professionals, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Support patient progress toward improved communication, safety, and independence.
