About The Position

UBC is a pharmaceutical support industry leader providing services across the drug development and commercialization lifecycle. The Specialty Pharmacy Liaison serves as a primary point of contact for program-specific Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, and, as applicable, the manufacturer’s Sales Force. The role supports patient access by coordinating specialty pharmacy activities, maintaining strong relationships with specialty pharmacies and HUB operations, reconciling dispensing and shipping information, and resolving issues and escalations. The liaison uses knowledge of specialty pharmacy processes, dispensing patterns, and reimbursement issues to identify and investigate potential gaps in care. The role includes managing specialty pharmacy partners through regular teleconferences and ongoing communication about patient cases, identifying and triaging complex cases, reviewing exceptions and restatements of partner records, and supporting questions related to the sales portal. The liaison also supports escalations involving prior authorization denials or appeals, assists with specialty pharmacy scorecards, and coordinates product, pump, and supply delivery dates with patient or healthcare provider needs. UBC states that the role is remote.
