About The Position

The Specialist – On Field Operations supports a seamless athlete experience by executing key on-floor processes, including merchandising, pricing, and product availability. The role combines operational expertise with an athlete-first mindset to help ensure the store delivers a consistent, high-quality experience.

The Specialist engages athletes to understand their needs, provides accurate product information and recommendations, and supports sales. They also serve as a subject matter expert in designated process categories, assist with onboarding and training, and help maintain merchandising, presentation, replenishment, and safety standards. The role promotes company programs and helps create a welcoming, respectful store environment for athletes and teammates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience.

• Previous retail or customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage athletes to understand their shopping needs and deliver a world-class athlete experience.
• Provide clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Anticipate athlete needs and drive sales through product and service recommendations.
• Assist with onboarding and training new and existing team members in area-specific best practices, selling skills, and operational processes.
• Serve as a go-to expert in designated process categories to support smooth execution and high productivity.
• Execute processes efficiently while ensuring products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged appropriately.
• Follow floor set plans and company standards for merchandising, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote customer participation in company programs, including loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Help create a welcoming and respectful environment for teammates and athletes.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, standard operating procedures, and external laws or guidelines.
