About The Position

The Specialist – On Field Operations supports a seamless athlete experience by executing key on-floor processes, including merchandising, pricing, and product availability. The role combines operational expertise with an athlete-first mindset to help ensure the store delivers a consistent, high-quality experience.

The Specialist engages athletes to understand their shopping needs, provides accurate product information and recommendations, and supports sales. They serve as a subject matter expert in designated store process categories and assist with onboarding and training team members. The role also helps maintain merchandising and presentation standards, encourages participation in company programs, and contributes to a welcoming, respectful, safe store environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience.

• Previous retail or customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide a high-quality shopping experience.
• Provide clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment; recommend products and services based on athlete needs.
• Assist with onboarding and training new and existing team members in best practices, selling skills, and operational processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in designated process categories to support smooth execution and productivity.
• Execute store processes efficiently while ensuring products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged appropriately.
• Maintain merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote customer participation in company programs, including the loyalty program, warranties, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Help create a welcoming and respectful environment for teammates and athletes.
• Follow policies and procedures concerning safety, loss prevention, standard operating procedures, and applicable external laws and guidelines.
