Teammate - On Field Operations
About The Position
As a Teammate – On Field Operations at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you will help deliver a seamless athlete experience by supporting merchandising, product availability, pricing, and signage across the sales floor. You will help keep the store organized, accurate, and ready to meet athlete needs, bringing energy, discipline, and teamwork to every shift. The role includes greeting and assisting teammates and athletes, providing helpful product knowledge and customer service, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, promoting company programs, and following safety, loss prevention, and operational policies. Teammates are expected to help create an inclusive environment and support the team across the store as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Greet teammates and athletes and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
- Follow established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards to uphold company merchandising and presentation standards.
- Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
- Follow policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing entity guidelines, including those of the Federal ATF.
- Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and safe and are treated with respect.
- Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
