About The Position
As a Teammate – On Field Operations at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you support merchandising, product availability, pricing, and signage across the sales floor. You help keep the store organized, accurate, and ready to meet athletes’ needs while contributing energy, discipline, and teamwork. The role includes delivering helpful customer service and product knowledge, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, promoting company programs, following safety and loss-prevention policies, and helping create an inclusive store environment. Teammates may also support other tasks across the store as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
- Follow established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards to uphold company merchandising and presentation standards.
- Promote company programs, including customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
- Follow policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including those of the Federal ATF.
- Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome, safe, and respected.
- Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
