About The Position
As a Teammate – On Field Operations at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you will support merchandising, product availability, pricing, and signage across the sales floor to deliver a seamless athlete experience. You will help keep the store organized, accurate, and ready to meet athlete needs, bringing energy, discipline, and teamwork to every shift. The role also involves approaching athletes to understand their needs, sharing helpful product knowledge, and supporting a welcoming and inclusive store environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
- Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
- Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
- Follow policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including those of the Federal ATF.
- Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and safe and are treated with respect.
- Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
