About The Position
The Specialist – On Field Operations supports a seamless athlete experience by executing key on-floor processes, including merchandising, pricing, and product availability. The role combines operational expertise with an athlete-first mindset to help ensure the store delivers a consistent, high-quality experience. The Specialist proactively engages athletes to understand their shopping needs, provides clear and knowledgeable product information, and recommends products and services to support sales. As a subject matter expert in designated process categories, the Specialist helps onboard and train team members and supports effective execution of operational processes. The role also maintains merchandising and presentation standards, promotes company programs, and helps create a welcoming and respectful store environment while following safety, loss-prevention, and operating procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience.

- Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage athletes to understand their shopping needs and deliver an outstanding experience.
- Provide clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
- Anticipate athlete needs and drive sales through product and service recommendations.
- Assist with onboarding and training new and existing team members, sharing best practices, selling skills, and operational processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in designated process categories to support smooth execution and productivity.
- Execute processes efficiently while ensuring products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged appropriately.
- Maintain merchandising and presentation standards, including floor-set plans, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
- Promote customer participation in company programs, including the loyalty program, warranties, and private-label credit card enrollment.
- Help create a welcoming and respectful store environment for teammates and athletes.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operations, as well as applicable external laws and guidelines.
