About The Position

The Specialist – Apparel delivers an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by connecting athletes with apparel for performance and everyday wear. The role combines product and merchandise expertise with strong customer service to drive results. The specialist proactively understands athlete needs, shares accurate product information, recommends products and services, and supports store operations and presentation standards. They also serve as a subject matter expert in their area, help onboard and train team members, and contribute to a welcoming and respectful store environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience.

Previous retail or customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage athletes to understand their shopping needs and deliver an outstanding shopping experience.
Provide clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
Anticipate athlete needs and drive sales through product and service recommendations.
Assist with onboarding and training new and existing team members, focusing on selling skills, best practices, and operational processes.
Serve as a go-to expert in designated process categories to support smooth execution and productivity.
Execute processes efficiently while maintaining an athlete-first mindset and ensuring products are ready for purchase.
Follow merchandising and presentation standards, including floor set plans, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
Promote customer participation in company programs, including loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
Help create a store environment where teammates and athletes are welcomed and treated with respect.
Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable external laws and guidelines.
