About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Kulpmont and surrounding areas. DSPs provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently and confidently. The role includes companionship, support with daily living, personal care, community engagement, and transportation. Part-time schedules are flexible; the posting notes weekend overnight shifts in Kulpmont. Compensation is up to $18 per hour, with weekly pay and possible mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Reliable transportation to support client needs in the community.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals’ independence and confidence.
• Engage clients in hobbies, activities, and meaningful moments.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and routines.
• Encourage community engagement and social connection.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and outings.
