About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a student-focused Special Education Teacher to provide resource room services to students in grades 3–5 in an Illinois school district. This full-time, full-school-year role involves creating individualized learning experiences, using effective teaching approaches, and helping students build confidence and achieve academic success.

The teacher will provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ learning needs and IEP goals. The role includes reinforcing core academic concepts, adapting instructional materials, and using ongoing assessments to track progress and identify additional support needs.

The teacher will collaborate with general education teachers, special education teams, related service providers, and families to coordinate student support and promote consistent learning strategies. Additional duties include documenting academic growth, maintaining student records, participating in IEP meetings, and communicating progress and instructional needs to appropriate school personnel. Interviews may be arranged as the opening approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
• Out-of-state special education licenses may be considered if eligible for Illinois reciprocity.
• Strong instructional, classroom management, organizational, and collaborative communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior school-based special education experience is preferred.
