About The Position

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement, or eligibility for certification.
- Strong communication, organization, classroom management, instructional planning, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
- Adapt curriculum, assignments, and assessments to address students’ learning needs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
- Support positive behavior and inclusive classroom practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary planning and student support meetings.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP objectives.
