The Due Process Coordinator is responsible for providing a variety of clerical support functions involved in the special education process. This includes scheduling special education IEP meetings, evaluation meetings and services, and child study meetings. The role also involves tracking due process dates, disseminating due process information to parents, preparing files for other districts or buildings, receiving and distributing student special education files upon enrollment, and maintaining parental consent forms/notices and special education cumulative files. This position requires a high level of initiative and innovation to meet the diverse needs of our students, along with knowledge of MN criteria and RTI intervention processes.
