About The Position

SPC Extrusion Utility/LTO's primary responsibility is keeping the stacker clean and pallets cleared from the back of the extrusion lines. They are also responsible for the accuracy of the stack count and backing up the extrusion operator. Essential duties include removing waste from the rear of the stacker, ensuring accurate material count on pallets, removing and replacing pallets, entering production, assisting in startup and shutdown, backing up the extrusion operator, and assisting in general clean-up and maintenance.

Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, or sit for long periods
Must be able to work in tight spaces
Must be able to lift and maneuver objects of 50+ pounds
Overtime is required on occasion

Nice To Haves

LTO-certified experience preferred
High school graduate or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Keeping the stacker clean and pallets cleared from the back of the extrusion lines
Ensuring the accuracy of the stack count
Backing up the extrusion operator
Remove waste from the rear of the stacker
Be sure the count of material on the pallets is accurate
Remove and replace pallets at the end of the stacker
Enter production
Assist in startup and shutdown
Back up the extrusion operator
Assist in general clean-up and maintenance
Perform any other duties as assigned
