About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring a Spanish-speaking Assistant Teacher for the Toddler room at its Plum Canyon school. The Assistant Guide supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom for children ages 0–3, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore and learn at their own pace. The role involves preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care, while helping children develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Spanish-speaking ability, as indicated by the role title and hiring description.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.
• Prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
