About The Position

As Spa and Wellness Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Spa & Wellness operation of the Yacht. You will lead and inspire a team of spa, salon, and fitness professionals to deliver exceptional Wellness experiences to our guests. A passionate team player, you will demonstrate a disciplined and creative approach to your craft built on your previous working foundation of a comprehensive knowledge of the core skills of Massage, Aesthetics, Beauty, Hair & Fitness. Understanding the complexities and demands of managing a multi-skilled and diverse spa technician team, your multiple years of leading luxury spas at sea will stabilize the new operation and quickly establish a cohesive, engaged, and passionate team under leadership.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years experience in luxury Hotels and / or onboard Cruise Lines.
  • An extensive foundational working experience in core Spa skills in Massage, Beauty, Aesthetics and / or Hair.
  • Experience in developing new openings or ship launches & set up of new hiring, employee culture, massage, skin, hair and nail training plans and certification courses.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate a digital mastery of most common office software tools eg Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and additional language fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of all amenities within the Spa, Salon and Fitness operations aboard The Yacht.
  • Create and maintain benchmarks for the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and efficiency of our spa and wellness operating model.
  • Responsible for creating a synergistic team of multi-trade Spa & Salon professionals.
  • Assessing Guest Feedback trends and conducting regular training sessions to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance KPIs all aligned with Four Seasons service standards.
  • Manage inventory levels for all spa products and liaise with on-shore distributors to ensure both pricing and par stocks are optimized.
  • Monitor the Spas Financial Performance, including budgeting, revenue targets, incentive and commission plans, operating costs and nimbly adapt the business to implement optimal profitability strategies.
  • Work closely with all other Yacht departments across all divisions ensuring the “internal and external“ Spa brand is recognized as a cohesive, well-run operational team.
  • Design and introduce innovative Spa & Wellness programs, classes, and treatments that are reflected in industry trends but are unique and “ownable“ to our Spa.
  • All Spa Operations must comply with Health & Safety regulations as well as Four Seasons compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Be an “ambassador for Four Seasons throughout the Yacht, engaging with both crew and guests at all times.
  • Implementing change based on feedback and analysis, constantly evolving our product and services through innovative leadership.
  • Be an inspired leader and demonstrate teamwork when cross-divisional work "all hands" work is required on Embarkation Days.
