About The Position

The Cove Spa, a Forbes Travel Guide 4 Star Award Winner, is seeking Spa Coordinators to provide superior customer service and a first-class guest experience. Coordinators handle guest interactions, front desk reception, and attendant duties in person and by phone, and help maintain the operational flow of the spa. The resort spa is located in a mountain setting and offers luxury amenities and a Northwest-inspired atmosphere. Successful candidates are personable, meticulous, professional, courteous, reliable, and committed to making clients feel welcomed and pampered.

Spa Coordinators work closely with the Spa Manager and interact with hotel guests and spa clients. They also represent The Cove and the broader Shore Lodge and Whitetail property.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Experience working in a customer-centric environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, management, and guests.
• Experience learning and using computer software and point-of-sale programs.
• A clean background and 2 professional references.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the hospitality or beauty industry.
• Strong proven retail sales experience.
• Familiarity with spa treatment types or resort spa experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments in person and by phone.
• Greet guests, check them in and out, escort them to the salon and locker room, provide tours, assist with retail selection, re-book future visits, and answer questions.
• Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms and common areas by stocking amenities and lockers, picking up dirty laundry, shelving clean laundry, and removing trash.
• Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts.
• Set up and break down the spa according to standard operating procedures at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Represent The Cove and the Shore Lodge and Whitetail property as a customer service representative.
• Assist the Spa Manager with coordinating spa groups and parties.
