About The Position

Woodhouse Spa – Highland Park is hiring a Spa Attendant for its new luxury day spa on Chicago’s North Shore. As a founding team member, the Spa Attendant helps maintain an immaculate, calm, and welcoming environment for guests while supporting therapists and front desk teammates. No spa experience is required; training is provided. The role includes laundry and linen care, cleaning and restocking guest areas, and assisting with opening and closing duties. The position requires reliable, consistent attendance and flexibility to work weekends and Sundays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to stand and move for most of the shift.
• Able to lift, push, and carry up to 45 lbs., including full laundry carts and linen bins.
• Able to bend, reach, and kneel repeatedly throughout the day.
• Comfortable working around heat, humidity, and commercial laundry equipment.

• Housekeeping, hotel, laundry, or hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens from treatment rooms, changing lounges, and service areas throughout the day.
• Wash, dry, fold, and put away sheets, towels, robes, and slippers according to Woodhouse standards.
• Keep linen closets organized, stocked, and rotated.
• Operate and care for commercial laundry equipment and supplies, and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Monitor linen inventory and notify management of potential shortages.
• Clean, tidy, and restock changing lounges, lockers, and guest areas throughout the day.
• Collect and remove trash throughout the spa, keeping bins fresh and out of guests’ sight.
• Maintain sanitation standards using approved products and procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Uphold Woodhouse brand standards and move through guest areas with a calm, quiet presence.
• Support therapists and front desk teammates to help keep services on time.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
