About The Position

The Spa Locker Room Attendant welcomes guests and orients them to the locker room, facilities, and lounges. The role helps maintain Forbes and Umstead service standards, including assisting with training new and current concierge staff. Pay range includes gratuities and/or service charges. The attendant maintains the spa and fitness center, supports guest needs, and keeps amenities and linen stocked.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to push and pull 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience operating a locker room and facilities area is helpful.
First Aid and CPR training desired, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet each guest and issue a robe, slippers, and locker.
Provide first-time visitors with an overview and orientation of the facilities.
Replenish guest amenities, products, and towels as needed.
Maintain a presence in spa facilities and act as a liaison between service providers and guests.
Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the spa and fitness center.
Remove used linen and organize and stock clean linen in the locker room and facilities area.
Escort guests to the proper lounge for their services.
Frequently check lounges and the meditation courtyard and respond to guest needs.
Stay up to date and become well-versed and trained in developments pertinent to the department, spa, and hotel.
Attend departmental, spa, and property meetings and training sessions.
Assist in training new and current concierge staff on Forbes and Umstead service standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
