Spa Associate
About The Position
The Spa Associate supports store operations by handling merchandise, stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and maintaining merchandise organization. The role performs daily operational tasks that support store sales, profitability, and the customer experience. It is based in a Neiman Marcus store and reports to the RPSO Manager. The position includes processing merchandise and freight, fulfilling customer orders, maintaining stockrooms and inventory, supporting merchandising and sale-event setups, and following safety procedures. Associates work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Flexibility in handling competing tasks and a collaborative “win together” mentality.
- Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily store operations and assist leads and managers.
- Handle merchandise, transfers, and inbound and outbound freight.
- Fulfill, pack, and ship online and store customer orders.
- Place merchandise according to merchandise standards.
- Perform price changes and reticketing, and move or sign product once marked.
- Process reticketing, damages, out-of-stocks, and related inventory-control tasks.
- Back-stock merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
- Merchandise products and set up sale events and signage under the guidance of managers and Visual, ensuring standards are followed.
- Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
- Follow safety procedures on the dock and in other work areas.
