About The Position

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Commerce Township is hiring a friendly, energetic, sales-driven Spa Associate for its front desk team. The spa has more than 1,100 members and is seeking someone who enjoys building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and pursuing sales goals. This is a part-time role of approximately 20–30 hours per week, with Sunday and morning availability especially needed and flexibility to occasionally adjust shifts or swap weekend days. Training is provided on massage and skincare services.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and team-oriented.
Positive attitude, enjoyment of interacting with people, motivation by goals and commissions, and willingness to learn.
Sunday and morning availability is strongly preferred.
Must be willing to occasionally adjust shifts or swap weekend days based on scheduling needs.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of sales or membership-based experience is highly preferred, particularly in a spa, fitness, retail, or similar environment; experience is not required.
Interest in sales and opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

Sell memberships and work toward individual and team sales goals.
Build relationships with members and guests, welcome visitors, and help them feel comfortable and appreciated.
Book appointments and help guests choose services and providers.
Promote services, products, current promotions, and gift card specials.
Answer phones, check guests in and out, process payments, and assist with daily front desk tasks.
Help maintain a clean, welcoming spa and support the team.
