About The Position

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Commerce Township is hiring a part-time Spa Sales Associate for its front desk team. The role is suited to an outgoing, sales-driven person who enjoys building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and helping guests have a positive spa experience. The spa has more than 1,100 members and provides training for candidates who are new to massage or skincare.

The position offers approximately 20–30 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility especially important. Sunday and morning availability are among the spa’s current scheduling needs, and the associate may occasionally be asked to adjust shifts or swap weekend days. Compensation is $15.00–$20.00 per hour plus commission. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Positive, reliable, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be willing to occasionally adjust shifts or swap weekend days based on scheduling needs.
• Scheduling flexibility is important; Sunday and morning availability are strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of sales or membership-based experience, especially in a spa, fitness, retail, or similar environment; this experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Motivation by goals, commissions, and opportunities to grow.
• Genuine enjoyment of interacting with people.

Responsibilities

• Sell memberships and help guests understand the benefits of regular massage and skincare while working toward individual and team sales goals.
• Build relationships with members, welcome new guests, and help guests feel comfortable and appreciated.
• Book appointments by matching guests with suitable services and providers and helping keep schedules full.
• Promote services and products, including current promotions, gift card specials, and service recommendations.
• Answer phones, check guests in and out, process payments, and assist with daily front desk tasks.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming spa and support the team in its day-to-day work.
