Sous Chef Asian Fusion
About The Position
An experienced Sous Chef is sought to lead the kitchen and create bold, creative Asian fusion dishes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fusion cuisine, can balance flavors across Asian cooking traditions, and has experience running service, managing prep, and supervising line cooks. Strong leadership, organization, and a passion for quality are essential. Hiring begins with a paid, all-day audition in the SOMA area of San Francisco. Audition participants are paid $35 per hour for the day. Candidates who pass may move on to the Sous Chef role, which pays $35 to $50 per hour, with room to grow.
Requirements
- Asian fusion culinary experience.
- Experience with fusion cuisine and balancing flavors across Asian cooking traditions.
- Experience running service, managing prep, and supervising line cooks.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Must have own knives.
