About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Sourcing Associate to support its expanding global Partner and Customer network. The role works cross-functionally to provide service functions that help create a frictionless order experience for partners and customers. The associate identifies and implements solutions for challenging and complex orders, collaborating with internal teams, Xometry’s partner network, and customers to develop recovery plans. The position calls for creativity, attention to detail, strong communication, flexibility, and a focus on finding solutions for each part.

Requirements

Detail-oriented problem solver who can thrive in ambiguous situations with minimal direction.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desire to learn and grow within the company and the position.
Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.
Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and basic internet navigation.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of Solidworks, Salesforce, Looker, and mechanical print interpretation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Triage orders to identify potential manufacturing issues, including tolerances, design limitations, and material availability.
Identify alternative sourcing strategies.
Cultivate relationships across the partner network and proactively communicate capacity gaps and constraints.
Work cross-functionally to devise recovery strategies for assigned orders.
Be accountable for sourcing KPIs, including margin and time to resolution.
