About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Sourcing Associate to support its expanding global Partner and Customer groups. The role works cross-functionally to provide service functions that create a frictionless order experience for both partners and customers. The Sourcing Associate helps resolve challenging and complex orders by collaborating with internal teams, actively engaging the partner network, and working with customers to develop order recovery plans. The position requires flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills. The estimated base salary for new hires is $62,000–$65,000 annually, depending on job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.

Requirements

• Have a strong desire to learn and grow within the company and the position.
• Be able to handle several assignments simultaneously.
• Have proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well as basic internet navigation skills.
• Have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Solidworks, Salesforce, Looker, and mechanical print interpretation is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial order triage to uncover potential manufacturing issues, including tolerances, design limitations, and material availability.
• Identify alternative sourcing strategies.
• Cultivate network relationships and proactively communicate capacity gaps and constraints across the network.
• Work cross-functionally to devise recovery strategies for assigned orders.
• Be accountable for sourcing KPIs, including margin and time to resolution.
