About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Sourcing Associate to support its expanding group of global Partners and Customers. The role works cross-functionally to deliver service functions that create a frictionless order experience. The Sourcing Associate helps resolve challenging and complex orders by collaborating with internal teams, engaging Xometry’s partner network, and working with customers to develop order recovery plans. The role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering strong service, using creativity, attention to detail, communication, and flexibility to find solutions for individual parts.

The estimated annual base salary for new hires is $62,000–$65,000, depending on job-related skills, relevant experience, and location. Xometry offers a competitive benefits package.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented problem solver able to thrive in ambiguous situations with minimal direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn and grow within the company and the position.
• Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and basic internet navigation skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Solidworks, Salesforce, and Looker.
• Mechanical print interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Triage orders to identify potential manufacturing issues, including tolerances, design limitations, and material availability.
• Identify alternative sourcing strategies.
• Cultivate network relationships and proactively communicate capacity gaps and constraints across the network.
• Work cross-functionally to devise recovery strategies for assigned orders.
• Be accountable for sourcing KPIs, including margin and time to resolution.
